About Me
Sanja Karanovic is a Consultant Dermatologist in Oxfordshire specialising in hair loss, lesions and complex skin conditions. She is a consultant at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Dr Karanovic qualified from University College London in 2009, her specialist training was undertaken in Brighton and then the West Midlands before being appointed to Oxford University Hospitals as a consultant in 2020. Dr Karanovic is nationally recognised for the assessment and treatment of hair and scalp disorders, she is the lead clinician for the Oxford regional hair service.

Dr Karanovic can assist you with assessment and management of traditional medical dermatology issues (suspicious skin lesions, acne, eczema, psoriasis,, inflammatory skin conditions) and skin surgery in the Oxford and Banbury area..
Dr Karanovic has a particular specialist interest in hair and scalp disorders, she is a member of the British hair and nail society and leads the Oxford Regional Hair Service (NHS). Patients are seen for a wide range of conditions including androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata, telogen effluvium and scarring alopecia.
