My Approach

Dermatology consultations should feel calm, thorough and reassuring. Skin and hair conditions can understandably cause concern, and my aim is to provide careful assessment in a friendly and professional environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their symptoms.

Appointments are structured to allow sufficient time to listen, understand the problem fully and perform a detailed examination. This often includes dermoscopy or close inspection of the skin or scalp to help reach an accurate diagnosis. Once the underlying cause is clear, treatment options and next steps are discussed clearly so that patients understand both the condition and the available management options.

I am a Consultant Dermatologist working within the NHS as well as private practice, with experience managing a wide range of dermatological conditions. Alongside general dermatology and skin lesion assessment, I have a particular specialist interest in hair and scalp disorders. I run the Oxford regional hair clinic, where patients with complex hair loss conditions are referred for specialist assessment and management.

Consultations are available at several convenient locations, allowing patients to choose appointments that fit around work and family commitments.
